I’m currently working on one of the more eventful days in the story. So many things go down here, I think it will probably take me another five chapters to get through them all. Good news is, when I’m done with this sequence, I should be at the halfway point in the manuscript.
Here’s a small sample of some of my storyboarding notes for Chapters 16-21 (ish).
*Lily bumps into Eli’s ex. Shit gets awkward. A perfectly innocent meat-lover’s pizza may or may not get wasted in a moment of jealous rage.
*Lily has a naked encounter with the last person in the world she wants to see naked at the Marguerite. Shit gets even more awkward.
*Lily says fuck it all and hits up the Lipton’s party.
*Eli finds out about said party and has his own ragey moment as he imagines Lily hooking up with Billy- Hot Lips-Lipton.
*Eli calls in his marker, and things go from really awkward to really heated between my MCs.
