Okay, so actual writing might be slow-going, but idea generation is kicking into over-drive. I woke up this morning with a flood of ideas for the second half of the book.
I don’t know why, but I tend to have my most productive brainstorming sessions when I’m in this strange state of semi consciousness a couple hours before I’m fully awake. I don’t know how to describe it other than to say it feels like I’m tapping into some super powerful part of my brain that helps me see all the patterns and connections in the story. And the patterns and connections I was processing this morning had me generating a juicy blackmail subplot for the back half of Book 4. A blackmailing subplot that involves those villainous Hollis guys…
