Despite my struggles this month, I’ve been able to knock out a few chapters, and I’m at 81,000 words (roughly 230 paperback pages). Chapter 36 was a fun one to write. Lily going full alpha on PJ in this scene had me rolling. This chick is awesome. I can’t wait to tell her story. I love how the relationship between these two ladies is evolving. They are having a lot of great moments together.
Also, PJ and Beau are about to have an entirely different kind of moment ?. It’s fun to write the sexy stuff, but in all honesty, my absolute favorite moments to write are all the sweet, sad, and funny little bits that come in between. Like Kory and Gray dancing in the woods in Book 1. And that part in Book 2 where Gray swipes Kory’s cell phone, and she throws the book at him. Literally. And it turns out to be one of the smutty romance novels PJ gave her. Ha! The Crazy Love series will be revisited in Pretty Jane. I just couldn’t help myself.
